Project Planning

Heritage Makers and Independent Consultants have created Planners based on product type to assist you in planning out your project. Print out the appropriate planner for your project and use the space provided to make notes referencing the sequence of your story.

If available, print or gain an additional copy of your index print for a particular set of photos, cut it apart and adhere the images to the spaces to give further visual reference. Each product has various layout options for each page within the book. Knowing the options ahead of time is helpful as it assists you in planning whether a page needs to be all text, one horizontal photo, collage of photos and etc. Click below to download the planner of your choice:

There may be times when you do not have a picture of a family member or need to fill a space within a layout. You can use a photo representing a place, time, profession, hobby, etc. instead. There are many sites available if you go through some searching but here are some of my favorites:
